We have been serving pets and people in the Amherst-Northampton area since 1976 and we understand and share in your compassion for animals. As our mission statement says…

Our Valley Vet and Inn for Pets team has grown over the years to include more than 50 veterinary, kennel and grooming pet care professionals. While we all may work in different areas of the office, we seek a common goal: “Compassionate Care for Pets and People”

Office Hours and Appointments

Our business hours are:

Monday -Thursday - 8AM - 8PM
Friday - 8AM - 6PM
Saturday - 8AM - 2PM

To allow sufficient time for each patient and to minimize waiting time we operate on an appointment basis. We realize your time is valuable and we will make every possible effort to see each client on time. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please telephone so that you may be rescheduled.

Emergency Service

Our staff is well trained to handle most medical or traumatic emergencies. After normal business hours we refer to several 24-hour veterinary emergency hospitals in the area that are best staffed and equipped to care for your pet. In some cases, we may also recommend transferring hospitalized pets to these facilities when advanced critical care or special surgery is needed.
