Our Valley Vet and Inn for Pets team has grown over the years to include more than 50 veterinary, kennel and grooming pet care professionals. While we all may work in different areas of the office, we seek a common goal: "To provide advanced medical care, thorough client education, and exceptional customer service in a friendly and caring atmosphere."

Dr. Diamond took over as owner and director of Valley Veterinary Hospital in 1986. Dr. Diamond is a 1982 gradate of NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the office, Dr. Diamond takes a special interest in the problems of older pets, dermatology cases and advanced dental techniques. Outside of work, Dr. Diamond enjoys tennis, golf, and skiing. He lives in Amherst with his wife Robin, their three children, two pugs "Chips" and "Lulu", and two cats “Rex” and “David Ortiz”. |

Dr. Beth Gatti attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 1989. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at West Hartford Specialty Group before joining the staff at Valley Veterinary in 1992. In practice Beth enjoys all aspects of general medicine, but especially enjoys taking the time to educate clients thoroughly when their pets have medical or behavioral problems. When not at work, Beth enjoys spending time with her daughter Sierra, running, horseback riding, weight training, cross country skiing and reading. Beth lives in Florence with her daughter, her partner Nancy, three cats and a tank full of tropical fish. |

Jennifer Kenworthy, D.V.M. |

Dr. Kenworthy is a 1994 graduate of the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, and completed two years of advanced medical training at the Ohio State University Veterinary School. Following her training, Jenny worked in high quality private practices in the Denver area for 6 years where she developed special interests in geriatrics, preventive medicine, and large breed dogs. Jenny also enjoys all aspects of client education. Outside of work Jenny enjoys camping, biking, hiking, and knitting. Jenny lives in Belchertown with her partner Debbie, their 3 children, and their 4 dogs and 3 cats. |

We are pleased to welcome Noel Watkins, DVM to the professional
staff at Valley Veterinary Hospital. Noel is a native of the
Pittsburgh area and a graduate of Susquehanna University. After
graduating in 2005 at the top of the class from Tufts University
School of Veterinary Medicine, Noel completed a rigorous
internship program at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in
Charlotte, NC. Most recently, Noel served as a general medicine
staff veterinarian at Angell Animal Medical Center (Rowley) in
Springfield where she gained additional training and experience
in diagnostic ultrasound as well as all aspects of general
practice. While not at work Noel enjoys hiking and other outdoor
activities as well as knitting and cooking Asian cuisine. Noel
lives in Sunderland with her three wonderful but slightly
imperfect cats (Tofu, Penelope and The Chunk) and a lop-eared
rabbit named Ula.

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Joe Wicinski to the professional staff of Valley Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Wicinski graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1994. After graduation, Joe worked for 10 years in a busy multi DVM practice on Staten Island, and did some relief work and emergency duty in nearby practices as well. Longing for “the country life”, Joe relocated to Western Massachusetts in 2004 and began work at Montgomery Road Animal Hospital in Westfield. Dr. Joe enjoys the variety of small animal practice and has a special interest in preventative medicine and client education. While away from the office Joe gardens, hikes, and is an avid bird and butterfly watcher. Joe lives in Whately with his partner Bill, along with their cat “Phoenix” and an assortment of frogs, turtles, geckoes and fish. |
